Dr. Jin Caihong is Senior Program Manager, Trade, Investment, Innovation and Canada-China Relations at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC). Prior to to taking her position at APFC, she was the Deputy Director at the International Programs Office at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). Her main areas of research are economic and regional development, health care financing, healthcare provision, health security systems, health policy and social security.

Dr. Jin has received a number of research grants from SASS and Shanghai Municipal Government to study the health care resources, medical security and medical insurance programs in Shanghai.
