Fengqi Zhou

Ph.D. – Economics – Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences – 2001

Dr. Zhou is a Research Professor at the Institute of National Economy, Director of the Centre for Ecological Economics and Sustainable Development and also the Deputy Director, Centre for Industry Development Studies, Institute of National Economy at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS).

Her main areas of research interests are in energy related policy, environmental policy and climate change. She was a visiting scholar at both of the Fairbank Center, Harvard University and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University from August, 2001 to July, 2002. She was a visiting scholar of Center for Environment Studies, Oxford University from January 2006 to March 2006. In 2002, she received the Top 10 Excellent Women Researcher academic prize at SASS.
